Part of the Spring 2016 Collection - Designer Beth Major was born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, a small city in Northern Ontario Canada and now resides in Atlantic Canada just outside Fredericton New Brunswick. Beth learned to crochet and knit at a young age from her Grandmother and while the needles confounded her, she really got hooked on crochet. Influenced by her upbringing in Northern Ontario, her designs tend to trend toward items for cool weather wear and home coziness. Beth is a certified crochet teacher through the Craft Yarn Council of America and shares the love of crochet with whoever wants to learn. Made with simplicity and style, this accessory can be worn as both an elegant shrug for more formal settings or as a fashionable cowl for everyday. One skein of Louet Euroflax goes a long way using the easy-to-master Soloman’s Knot stitch. This lacey piece works up very quickly using a spiral, in-the-round construction with no seaming.
