This great looking cabled dress is worked from the neck down, which allows the knitter to adjust the length if required. The back and front yokes are knit separately, then joined at the underarms and worked in the round to the end. The middle front panel lends itself to decorating with beads, embroidery, appliqué, needle-felting or crocheted accents. A garter stitch edging is worked on the neck, armholes and bottom at the same time as the dress is knit, which leaves only the shoulders to finish with a 3-needle bind-off.
