Jane I am so glad I phoned you back in December to get some loom advice. The wait was worth it. 

I am learning new things hourly. I also can zip along. It is amazing how fast I can go. Here are a couple of pictures. This is my first project. 8-harness tabby boucle tea towels. I was able to finish all 8 in three days. Now I'm am weaving 4 harness Atwater Bronson tea towels. This is going slower due to the fact there are more treadles. I am also working on those selvages. So if they are not so great, those who receive these towels will be no wiser.

My 10 year old wants to weave on this loom all the time. Even my 13year old, who shows no interest in anything; pops in daily to see what I am weaving. And not to forget my hubby: he comments daily how impressed he is with 'this loom'. From the wood, how the loom is put together and how it functions overall. Oh and he is still blown away from how the loom was packed.

Dear Louet,
I have never written a company to tell them how wonderful I think they are but I have to now.
In 1992, I purchased a used Louet Spring; 8 harness with 2 beams. It was a great loom! In 2008 I bought a Megado; 16 harness with the compu-dobby attachment. There was a shipping nightmare not caused by anything on Louet's end and your patience and customer service was excellent! Because of hip and back concerns, I sold the Spring last year and I weave exclusively on my Megado. It has always performed above and beyond my expectations of a loom but what happened in the last week has reinforced my admiration for my loom.
I tried a new warping technique and it was a disaster(I have photos if you are interested! But in spite of myself, I wove a beautiful piece of cloth.
Not fancy, but exactly what I was after.
