S45 - Discontinued 2008

Small and compact, our S45 is similar in size to the S40 and can spin both bulky fibers and very fine fibers.

The S45 works with a double treadle and a scotch tension system. It has a built-in lazy kate that holds 2 extra bobbins.

The S45 is a unique, easily recognized Louët wheel. Iit is sturdy, very portable and has a wide range of ratios: 7:1, 12:1, and 20:1.

Wheels are made of hard maple and finished with a clear lacquer.
