Heddles
All Louet looms use Texsolv heddles shown below. Texsolv heddles are lighter, slide easily along pattern shafts, make no noise during operation and can be added or removed as required. Ease of adding heddles varies from loom to loom. Demonstrations of how to add heddles can be seen on our Weaving DVD.
Texsolv heddles are listed by their length, in millimeters, ie: 205 heddles are 205 mm long.

Foldable Warping Reel / Yarnblocker
The warping reel, has a circumference of 150 cm (59") and the base length is 85 cm (33"). The maximum length of the warp you can make is about 12-13 m, 913-14 yard), depending on the yarn and the number of threads. Six dowels can be mounted at either reel ends, allowing for a warp cross. As a yarnblocker, this is the only way to dry your skeins of handspun for consistent twist in your yarn. If you plan to use your handspun as a warp, wind it into the reel wet and be done with it in one step. Folded, you can store the warping reel in the flat box that it came in; 92x54x11 cm (36"x21"x4,5"). Made of unlacquered beech. Weight: 4,5 kg (10 lb).

Foot Pedal Height Adjusting Blocks
Available for the Delta and Megado looms, these blocks are used to adjust the loom to the size of any weaver. Blocks are added to treadles, extending them closer to one's foot for shorter weavers. The Megado and Octado have 3 built-in treadle heights, but if this is still not enough, blocks and bars can be used to further adjust the loom, leaving the weaver sitting in a comfortable seated position when weaving.
